Curious about the use of 'pro' as an adjective in controller names.

- Pro-Line joystick (Atari)
- The Pro-Stick on the Amiga
- 1995 ProController (Jaguar), adds three face buttons and 2 shoulder buttons
- 2009 Classic Controller Pro, adds n64-looking grips and different should button layout
- 2012 Wii U Pro Controller, official regular controller
- 2017 Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, official regular controller
