A stylus design primarily for Mario Maker 2. It's a wide flat shape, like a carpenters pencil, and has A, Y, X, ZL, Home and direction buttons (mapped to the stick) so you can also use it for quickly testing levels you're working on.
It doesn't seem to have a canonical name (DarkWalker FO216 Wireless Controller Stylus Touch Pen for Nintendo Switch?, IFYOO Touch Stylus Pen For Nintendo Switch?), and has been distributed by DarkWalker and IFYOO.
To work with Switches with firmware 12 and above you will need to update its firmware with Windows software available on both distributor's websites:
rjt adds: I thought it might be good for Picross games, particularly that quick one Picross X: Picbits Vs Uzboross, but it doesn't have the right buttons.
