Sunsoft's Sunstation Pad is a very pretty controller for the PlayStation. The D-pad is yuck, but the layout is cool and the colours are nice, plus it had rapid-fire, slow-motion, and programmable macro features.
There is also a Saturn version called the Sunsaturn Pad.
Seen multiple people having problems with them on PS2.
Instructions
Can't find an image of the instruction sheet, so these screenshots from Classic Game Rooms video will have to do.
