Mitsumi Electric-made mouse Roland sold for use with some of its S series samplers (S-330, S-550, S750, S-760, S-770). There is a black version (model number suffix BK), and a white version, which seems rarer.

Mitsumi licenced the same design to a bunch of different companies for MSX mice (not sure which came first):

Compatibility

The MU-1 uses the same standard as the MSX, so this mouse works there, and MSX mice work here. The MSX Resource Center suggests the same goes for the FM-Towns and some Sony mice: https://www.msx.org/wiki/Mouse/Trackball#Compatibility_with_other_computers.2Fconsoles.2Fappliances

3DO, PCs, C64, Amiga, ST (etc) all use mice with the same DB-9 port, but I don't believe any are compatible. I guess there's always the option to grab one of those and rewire the pins, but you can also get cheap PS/2 to MSX mouse adaptors, and that way you can use an optical mouse or trackball. KMTech make one, and there are others.
